ImageAs the inaugural post of, what I hope to be, a blog full of everyday inspirational tidbits, I found it only fitting to describe what motivated its creation.

Although I like to advertise myself as one of today’s “modern girls” interested in developing my career rather than designing my wedding, I have to admit that I do take pleasure in bearing witness to what other brides envision as their ultimate day of perfection, also known as the monumental milestone called… (wait for it)… their wedding day. In particular, I am obsessed with the blog welovepictures, which features beautiful photos of weddings located mainly in South Africa. I have no idea what continuously draws me back to this blog, but what I do know is within one of the forewords describing a specific wedding, I was instantly inspired by the single line, “It is as weddings should be. Simple, beautiful & full of joy.”

Not that this blog is going to be entirely about weddings, by any means, but I instantly fell in love with that line. It is not only how I can hope my future wedding will be, but it is also how I hope the course of my life will fill out to be.

So, without further ado, I introduce to you Simple, Beautiful & Full of Joy.
